We know that tastes can vary which is why we’ve developed a wide range of options to choose from, no matter the look that you’re going for. If you’re after something chic but functional, our Florence range offers a Porcelain and Stone or a Dust Grey and Porcelain Kitchen. Or you have the option of our Kensington Cashmere kitchen, or the Matt White Handleless kitchen for a truly seamless look. All of our kitchens are hand-made right here in the UK by our expert craftsmen and we offer a free design appointment at our design hub in Middlesborough to all of our customers. We are a family run business with decades of experience and we believe that face to face appointments are valuable. However, we do also understand that some people may prefer not to travel or equally prefer not to do a face to face meeting, so you can also work with us entirely remotely if you wish and still design your dream kitchen or bedroom in Stockton the way that you want it. The low-down on Stockton.

The first thing to say is that Stockton was recently listed as the Top 6^th Best Place to live in the UK – that reveals a lot about it instantly! It is a town with strong historical links – the actual name dates back to the Anglo-Saxon era and there’s an interesting fact associated with it: the fossilised remains of the most northerly hippopotamus were discovered here – who would have thought? It’s main claim to fame is the Stockton and Darlington Railway which was the first passenger steam train to exist in England in 1825.

These days Stockton has developed into a delightful market town on the River Tees just three miles west of Middlesborough town centre. A lot of Stockton has late medieval and Georgian influences and there are a lot of listed buildings with a variety of interesting architectural types.

Ideal for families, there’s a lot of property to choose from, both for sale and to rent. There are several good primary and secondary schools in surrounding district. It’s proximity to Middlesborough also makes it easier to travel into the city centre to take advantage of all of the shops, restaurants, cafes, cinema and other amenities. Retail wise, there are two large shopping centres Wellington Square and Castlegate. Stockton also has the Teesquay Millenium Footbridge which is definitely something of note! It has good road, rail and air links which makes it easy to travel to and from, something which could be valuable if you regularly have friends and family to stay. Local attractions include Butterfly World and Ropner Park.

Stockton is sheltered by both the Pennines and the Lake District, which means its micro-climate is more temperate than other northern locations. The temperature around Stockton is higher than average in the summer and in the winter and there’s only around 643mm of rain per year.
